Nicole’s journey with ocular prosthetics is personal. She has been a patient at Robert B. Scott Ocularists since infancy, which ignited her passion for helping others feel confident and comfortable with their own prostheses. With over a decade of experience as an ocularist and a lifetime of wearing an artificial eye, Nicole understands firsthand the importance of a natural appearance, a comfortable fit, and compassionate care. She is well-versed in all aspects of patient care, from custom fitting to ongoing support, and collaborates with ophthalmologists to ensure the best outcomes for her patients.
Continuing the tradition of excellence established by Robert B. Scott Ocularists, Nicole is dedicated to blending the latest technology with a personal touch that makes each patient feel truly cared for. Her mission is to help each patient feel as comfortable and confident with their prosthesis as she does with hers.
A Passion for Care, Expertise, and Innovation
Nicole Blum, Board-Certified Ocularist, represents a new generation of ocularists, dedicated to the art and science of creating life-like prosthetic eyes. Nicole began her career in 2009 as a lab technician while earning her degree in Community Health from the University of Illinois, graduating with high honors and a focus on Health Education. After completing a rigorous internship at our practice, Nicole achieved board certification through the National Examining Board of Ocularists.
